Nice blog and yes nice pictures too!
I am from Ghent. Maybe you know the Snoecks? I sold my shares in the printing house (Snoeck-Ducaju & Zoon) a few years ago and moved to the Philippines. Tabula rasa... start of a new life!
But as you can see it is a small world!

Oh yes, I know Snoecks alright. I am not going to pretend I buy it every year, but I do have a few of them. Isn't Geert Stadeus a former colleague of yours? I got to know him as a former student of the college where I teach (not that he is a former student of mine - after all, I am probably younger than he is). But just goes to show: it IS a small world. Thanks for the comment and "drop in" any time. I'll try and do the same! As for the tabula rasa: a lot of us dream about it, only few of us actually do it. Chapeau!

Whatever happened to Flat Eric? I heard a rumour he's running a troupe of Burlesque dancing girls somewhere West of Berlin but that may just be heresay...

Yes, Geert Stadeus is now our editor in chief.
He is doing a very good job. I meet him once or twice a year at our offices.
The publishing arm of our business is till owned by us.

speaking of funny campaigns, take a look at this:

Those spaniards...they don't need a cartoon figure to be hilarious.
